Itís Triple the action and triple the points this Friday at Southside Speedway with Little League Night, presented by 93.1 The Wolf.

The Modified division headlines the evening with 3-30 lap main event races.

And not only will there be 3 trophies on the line to take home in the class, but its triple the points all in one night.

Currently, Thomas Stinson, who has won 3 of the 5 races run this season, sits atop the points in first. Friday nightís triple main event would be the shot needed for any driver who sits 2nd on back to capitalize on a good finish and chip away at that lead.

Stinsonís nearest competitor, Chris Johnson, sits 160 points back in second. But Johnson has inched his way up to the second spot with 5 top five finishes this season, including 2 second place finishes.

Mike Rudy fell back to third following an 11th place finish 2 weeks ago due to mechanical issues. Rudy is now tied with Michael Johnson, who has finished no worse than 6th this season. Kyle Wood rounds out the top five.

Other racing action on the night includes a 50-lap Street Stock main event. This is the first time in 3 weeks the Street Stocks have been in competition. Brian Smith, who picked up his first win of the season on May 21, leads the division by 20 points over second place running Ricky Stotler. Travis Nicely, Shawn Sutphin and Todd Ruggles round out the top five in the points.

The U-Cars will also be in action and David Kerns will try and pick up his second win of the season. He currently leads the points race, just 20 points ahead of second place Mike Chapman, who has finished no worse than second in the last 2 races. Daniel Thomas, Austin Dodge and Charlie Simons round out the top five.

Gates open at 6pm with racing beginning at 7:30pm. Ticket prices are $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors and Military, $5 for kids 6-11 and kids 5 and under get in free. Plus, all little leaguers in uniform get in free.
