In order to receive the $5 Adult General Admission ticket, fans will have to present their Virginia Issued Photo ID at the ticketing window. Southside Speedway is happy to be able to provide central Virginian’s with an economical family entertainment option.
Southside Speedway is also happy to be offering the brand new “Didn’t Miss a Race” promotion providing fans with a $1 discount off regular admission prices. All fans presenting their date stamped ticket stub from July 10, 2009 will receive $1 discount on their purchase of a regular priced General Admission ticket on July 17, 2009.
Don’t miss Vocelli Pizza Family Night July 17, 2009. Vocelli Pizza will partner with Southside Speedway to provide family’s and fans with give-a-ways and prizes.
July 17th fans in attendance will see the Modified Division compete in a Triple 30, the U-Car Division in a 25 Lap Battle, the Street Stock Division 50 lap feature and the Champ Kart’s going for the checkered in a 20 lapper. The Modified Division will be one to watch with the point chase in full effect with a 20 point separation between first and second.
Southside Speedway would like to give a special Thank You to all the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for coming out to the races on Friday, July 10. Every Scout and Leader appearing in uniform received free admission. Prior to the races, the scouts were invited into Victory Lane for the Scout Salute during the National Anthem. Troop 2837, Troop 2835, Troop 862, Troop 424, Troop 860, Pack 2874 and Pack 831 were all in attendance and active with the nights promotions. Troop and Pack Leaders participated in a Hula Hoop competition, while their scouts tried their abilities in a knot tying race.
